High Lift Jack Mount

Got tired of having the high-lift in my way all the time, so I came up with a place to mount it on my spare tire carrier for easy access. Here's a few pix...

I moved my license plate down from the stock location as well. The cheazy light I got is not mounted yet, just need to splice in the wire (well actually solder in some connectors that I'll do on the bench).

Looks good. the only thing I can think of is if you rolled it might get torn up.

I have never had a rollover so I can't speak from personal experience :rolleyes: , but I thought it through and that location seemed to be tucked in (behind the spare) and offered the most protection (on the outside) compared to mounting on the front bumper or the roof.

You're right though,....thats one tool you may need in post rollover recovery. On the other hand, its one less projectile I have to strap down inside the rig.

I've seen lots of bumper mounts that parallel the ground.

well looking at yours it wouldn't work with the dual swing aways you have. dont have a pic but if you check through the cfsj invasion site its the blue wt with the hummer tires and 6inch lift
