Automatic door locks

Both my GW's ('87, and '88) have this problem on some of their doors. When you use the all door lock on the armrests, not all of them lock, or unlock. It seems that after a few tries, they will all tend to lock, but unlocking takes multiple tries, and still only one or two doors open. The dealer told me that the rod that pushes the lock pin up, sometimes bends over time. Should I replace them, or could it be a lubrication problem.....?

prolly lub. I would take off the panels and put som grease in there, push them in and out manually a few times. While you're in there, see if anything else is getting stuck. When I got my wag none of the door locks worked, some just needed lubing, others had bad wiring.
