Still not clear on TFI ....

Ok, I understand HEI, thats easy. But what If I want TFI? I need a delco distributor? I assume I dont have that now? (79 Cherokee) or do I? Then, what all do I need? Maybe someone can point me to an old thread explaining it all. I know there is probably one out there.

TFI is the kind of coil. You should upgrade the distributor cap if you put the new coil in.

I read the tech article, I understand better now. I know now that I already have the correct distributor, thats a plus. I am leaning towards this upgrade over HEI. I will holler if I need help. Thanks!
