View Full Version : NAPA exaust pipe #'s???

Hey guys, I'm wanting to take off the CAT this week while I'm doing the rear main seal. (no emission test here) If I remember right somebody posted a part # from NAPA for the pipe to replace the section where the CAT goes...I did a search but nada... Can anyboddy help a brotha out??:cool:

Uh, you can just get a straight piece of pipe from the regular parts stores. Nothing special about it.

That said, I'd keep the cat. It'll make your exhaust less stinky. The guy behind you will appreciate it.

Uh, I was wanting a piece to slip over the Y pipe like the cat does. Since I don't have the cat off, I dunno the Dia. or the length..... That is why I was asking for a part #. Thanks for the input tho!! :)

Really no worries about that in our part of the state. No emissions testing at all. Nobody asks, nobody cares. Heck, if they want us to keep the emissions in tact they should subsidize us guys with 4x4s a little bit. Rust can be ridiculous on exhaust systems with all the salt they put on the roads around here and we (4x4 owners) don't need it.

Hey man!!! Haven't heard from you in quite a while, My wife said she thought she saw a GW for sale in Marion and I thought you had given up the faith!! :D Right now It's 5 am and I'm headed to the car wash in Wabash for some degreasing then I'm gonna start on the rear main seal before it gets too hot...PM me or call if you still have my ## for some BS in you want!! :thumbsup:
