OK, it starts right up with out having to give it gas. This is with a cold engine. Then it will idle fine at about 1000 rpms, as soon as it gets warm it starts to die and then you have to give it gas. If you let it it will die on you. I tried to turn the fast idle screw alittle and it helped. It will idle at 1200 until warm and then it goes to about 1000 at idle and 750 in gear. If I hit the gas it is fine. Then when I put it back in park the rpms are at 1200  . If I turn it off it desiels. But just for a sec. The engine is also pinging a little. I am trying to avoid taking it in if I can because of money reasons. My wife found out about the newe driveshaft last night and it wasn't pretty. If you can help thanks.

I will have to look at that when I get home. I am running a manual choke. The electric was just not working.

I bought one of those manul choke conversions in the help section from checkers. It works good. Thanks for the info. I will look at it when I get home in a couple of hours. Surprisingly I have to force my wife to spend money on herself. If she has money she spends it on the boys. She is a great women! :D

didn't know they made great women ...lol make sure that when the idle goes back up go under the hood and check all the choke linkage it shouldn't be resting on the FAST idle screw when you have the choke off
