Does anyone know if some body (after market) makes a complete wiring loom for the older Wags? After 26 years of age, I keep thinking that some of the wires (just from bouncing around) have to worn close to shorting out and I would sure hate to see my Wag burn down for that reason. I thought I had seen someone post something about it before, but I can't remember where I saw it. M.G.

Marvin,

I think a univeral kit from Painless Wiring, or Centech, or Ron Francis Wireworks would work great. The Ron Francis Wireworks is probably the nicest aftermarket loom on the market, but they aren't cheap.

Did ya get those power seats in yet? Jealous, I bet they are comfy smile.gif

the main thing is to keep the wiring away from the right exhaust manifold. also, make sure any fuel hose isnt cracking, they deteriorate with age. when ever you replace the hose get new clamps too.

Hey J, The seats are in and they really are comfortable. I'm going back out to pull and save this morning and get all the carpet out of that GW, since it looks like new, I thought to myself, I was going to get new carpet anyway, why not save myself $200 and just get that for $6.00. If I don't like it I can always get new later on. I want a set of mirrors like you got off that GW.
They don't open til 9:30 so I'll be there when they open.
