Reliable engine/machine shop in St. Louis

Can anyone recommend a good machine shop in the St. Louis, Missouri area? You know, the kind that actually knows there is a difference between Dodge and AMC engines. I'm rebuilding an AMC 401 and would prefer to do it right the first time. Also for those that have bored out their 401's .030 over, did you use a torque plate? I've been told that a torque plate is only needed if you are building a racing engine. Any comments?
