14 bolt discs

im finally done with the 14 bolt but ive run into a small problem.the calipers wont fit over the rotors.everything is new and the distance between the pads and the rotor thickness are the same size.im thinking of just beltsanding some off of the pads.this happen to any of you guys?how much space did you have between the pads and rotors?

did you use 3/4 or 1 ton front rotors?

if its that close,id prolly just sand some off the pads.i cant imagine it would hurt anything,and as the rotor wears alittle,you wont have the prollem

the piston is completely seated in the caliper?

mine fit ust fine.my rotors were new,but they were new from the 'Zone,so ya never know... ;)

make sure the piston is totally compressed....

it sounds like something is wrong.
if'n everything else checks out and it's still a no go, take the pads back and get bonded instead of riveted pads. they're a bit thinner.
