Well, how do they work? What kinda price/labor would you be looking at if you wanted to install one? From what I've read they work off your transfer case? If so, would a PTO work with a QT t-case? Anybody got one of these big boys?
The deal is that the T-case has what amounts to an extra output shaft and the PTO accesories (winch included) jsut mount up to the extra shaft. I have never heard of anyone offering a kit that convert a QT to PTO use.

if you wanted to run a pto off of a fsj, your best bet would be to setup a t-18/20 or a 400/20 trans transfercase setup. then you would need pto drive setup that conects to the transfercase. they sell for about 150-250 on e-bay. then you would need the driveshafts and a pto wench. the original wenches are pretty high but there are some other alternatives out there on smaller tow trucks ect. i would guess that for a good setup you would pay around 500.00 for everything and then deal with instalation. it probaly simpleast to find a good electric wench or hydrolic used if posible.

countig the $50 i spent on cable, and thew $150 i spent on the spicer 18 xfer and pto,but not counting the scraps of metal that we had here that were used in the install, and also not counting labor for all the time a friend spent welding ;) ive got less than $350 in mine. it is very large and mounted in the bed.its from a tow truck.i gave $50 for it,and had to replace 1 bearing($23) and had to have a friend that works in a machine shop make me a new bronze bushing. gave $50 for 100 feet of 3/8 cable, and have got around $100 in makig the driveshaft(yokes, sprockets, chain, carrier bearings, etc.)
my pto works by engaging the input gear in the xfer,so i essentially have 4 forward winching speeds, and 1 speed for "power out"
oly prollem ive had with it is we usd too small of chain, and under extreme loadsit jumps teeth. i soon will be fixing that and upgrading to 60 series chain.
i love it-it has a ton of power with the t18 in granny, and i can pull something the entire 100 feet of cable without having to stop and wait for the motor to cool down,or worry bout it draining the batteries. smile.gif
there are downsides of course, mainly that its in the rear,so i cnt use it to pull myself forward, and also that the motor has to be running to use it. ill be adding a small, conventional electric winch on the front to make up for those downsides.
let me kow if ya have more specific questions bout it...
