Will a dodge 360 bolt up to my t-14 ( ithink that is what it is.)I have a 74 cherokee I believe and can get my hands on a dodge 360 just wanted to know if they were the same or not.

The Dodge 360 and AMC 360 are two completely different animals, a common misconception. So if you have the stock Jeep bellhousing, then no, but you can get the parts to swap in a Dodge 360 should you desire to do so.

And if you have the 3 speed, you most likely have a T18

I believe the t-18 is the four speed, the t-15 is the three speed

T-18 is definitley a 4 spd. The T-14 (6 cyl) and T-15 (8 cyl...which is what it yours should be)) were both available and both are 3 spds.
