Look how the hood closes. Looks more like a Dodge to me. They're crawling all over base here, I want one.

It was DEFINTALY roughly based on the 715. If you look at the door ONLY... the only thing I see wrong with it is the mirror. The seams are nearly exact porportionally.

One of those split windshields would look awesome on a J10 or even M715.

I want some of those fender flares.

I work at a Kia dealer, too bad they don't sell them in the dealership. We get stuck with the Sportage, and the Sorento.

The door is a perfect match, except for the handle indentation. The front clip reminds me of an AMC Commando.

Very nice:thumbsup: .

I need to make friends with someone in the USAF and have them slip one of these pallets on a cargo plane bound for the States!

I agree the drivetrain info on one of these things would be great. It sure does look like a M715 knock off. I wonder how quiet the cab is and how many more creature comforts it has over an M715.

If I had my choice I'd probably still go M715 with the customizations I want. however if I had a business need for such a vehicle buying one of the KIA's may be just the ticket.

my guess would be deisel, but kia also makes a version of the kaiser m35

the m715 is still a whole lot cooler though.

Oh my...it really is an inline oil burner!
Ok, where do I sign? Who does quick paint jobs? Gotta lose the camo thing though since I quit 'everything camo' in Jan 71 when I was no longer a brother of the cloth in Uncle Sugar's travel club.

a tear comes to my eye, this is the first time I have seen such a creature, and to even imagine a diesel powered m715-wanna-be truck meakes me very happy

I bet it's got very low gears just like the original. Not meant for highway driving.

I wonder if there's any chance we can get a milsurp importer on these for us? Like Cold War Remarketing here in CO? Not like I can afford one or store one... but ... really cool.

I wouldnt be surprised if these wernt "knock-offs". Jeep probably had manufacturing going on in parts of the world and alliances with companies all over the place.
Kia is probably just another company in a long line that Jeep slept with :lol::rolleyes2:
