AMC20 identification letters

Ok, the rear AMC20 in my 81 J10 has letter codes DD. I know this means 2.73's...but...in the tech area ont he main site it shows two sets of letter codes for 2.73 (AA and DD), with NOTHING saying what the two rows mean. I believe this means it has a trac-loc. As inside the glove box it states it came with a locking style rear differencial. And goes on to say what the advantages of it are etc etc.

so if anybody knows what thwo letter codes mean, it would be great.
