I'm checking out this Randon Technology cat you've got ... and it by shape if looks like the one I've got, but by description it seems quite a bit nicer. Anyhow... since I can't find a dual inlet / dual outlet cat... I think I may go with a pair of these instead... what do these cost? I've got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that this exhaust upgrade is gonna seriously kick me in the pants... also I'm going to throw a pair of 50 series Flow's on it ... I LIKE the noise http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

Well, the Random pieces are VERY expensive; figure on $200-$250 for the cat, alone, each!

If I had to do it again, I would probably go with a standard aftermarket high-flow cat. I liked the Random Tech design because it was a true bolt-in piece, and it does flow well. Plus it was a lot cheaper than the alternative of having a 3" system bent up, so I went for it.

Well I found the dual inlet cat, it was for a dodge ram truck. It is for a 360 Ram engine(it is from Randon) so it should have enough capacity to handle our 360s. I knew I had seen it but did not remember what the aplication was. These kind of things are hard to deal with for us guys. Any thing can be done it just depends how much time and money you want to spend. If you want a bolt on system you are going to have to look hard, and it is not going to be cheap. I am sure that there are other manufacturers out there to, good luck.

Dr. Barry,
Does the Random Tech Cat use the air injections tube? Their website sugguests that the newer cats, like theirs, don't require the extra O2.

Well, the cat I bought did have the AIR tube (two, actually, one for each side, plus plugs to drive into the tube to plug it up if you didn't need it); I used a 90º elbow they supplied, and connected it to the original AIR tube (I cut it off the original cat) with a 1/2" compression plumbing fitting.
