Has anyone installed a BDS Glide Ride 4" lift?

They have a lifetime no fine print warranty, you break it they replace it PERIOD!

The price is good at around $525.00 for 4 springs, U bolts, drop pitman arm, and brake line extenders.

The springs have military style wraped eyes with tapered leave ends and special low friction pads.

I've got the BDS lift on my 84 GW, sounds like a decent price considering I paid about $1100 for the kit w/4 rs9000 shocks and a steering stabilizer. I'm pretty satisfied with it (besides getting ripped off!) it rides pretty smooth on the highway and handles the trails like a champ, the lifetime guarentee I'm sure will come handy some day. The only problem with installation (besides having to cut out old eye-bolts) was with the military double wrap on the front springs, had to cut off one of the wraps in order to get eye-bolt in spring, called BDS and was told that I could just cut off extra wrap, would'nt affect performance or warrenty. Also had problems with front u-bolts, they were a little too wide for bracket. I ended up using old ones which are a little too short.

Gozer, when did you get the kit? I wonder if they have fixed those problems?

The shocks deffinetly put you over the top. Trailmaster SSV shocks were recomended to me at around $45.00 each (I think I can get them cheaper maybe) they also have a lifetime warranty and come with boots.
