The wag got a nice lil curb check the other day. The back axle is now sitting at a funny angle and I know the axle has to be bent. but looking at it 2day i noticed the rear diff had a slight leak. Does that mean that the housing is fubar also or......

That does not sound too good. If the axle tube is bent, it's surely causing damage inside anyway.
Is it leaking at the pinion, or around the rear cover? Out the filler hole?

It is leaking from the bottom of the diff cover. It's not leaking really bad but enough to scare me. I put on the spare and kinda drove it around the parking lot. The wheels seems to wobble pretty bad and it seems the jeep has to try a little harder than normal to go forward.

Hmmmm..... wobbling wheels isn't too good, is the spare wobbling too? A bent rim will wobble pretty good. A leaking diff cover may not be bad; that seems to happen after many miles anyway. It's probably a good idea to change that fluid (something that many people don't think about) and when you do that job, you install a new gasget on the diff cover anyway.
Can you get any pictures of the axle at all?

DO NOT drive the rig around with a wobbly wheel/bent axle; that is just asking for the wheel bearings to self-destruct and the axle to leave the housing.
When I first bought my J4000, I never realized that I had a slightly bent right axle. About 4 months after I bought it, the right rear tire/brake drum/axle left the vehicle while I was on the highway at 70mph. After this happened I took the axle to a shop and sure enough it was slightly bent leading to a wobble. When I told my mechanic buddy about the bent axle he told me he saw my wheel was a bit wobbly while following me one day to our hunting spot. Why the f@%* didn't you tell me!
I would be looking for a replacement rear end if the damage is as bad as I think it is.

My camera is in another town, so I got no pics. I might try and find a heavier duty axle to replace it with and just change the gears in the front to match. Anything now really, I just want the waggy back.
