I bought a 360 off Craigs List (it was one of those, it ran great when I took it out deals). Needless to say, the block is getting bored, the crank is going 10 under on the mains and it's a complete rebuild. Since I have no experience with the AMC 360, does anybody have any ideas on a good cam to use that has some nice torque to it. Thanks in advance!

K8600 from Summit is nice. Right amount of lope, nice sound, good power....especially low end. $80 with lifters, can't be beat.

I like the 8600 in my 360, but then it's running a bit more compression, some porting, injection, a manual trans & 3.73s. It might be a wee bit much for some setups.

I'm running a K8601 in my 360, along with a GM TBI setup from a 350. No complaints.
