anything else i should do while i have them out? they're both running fine, only a very few, very small particles in the tranny pan. fluid was cherry red. i'm just gonna replace the front seal on the tranny and slap everything back together. can anyone think of some stuff i should do to my driveline while i have all this pulled out?

thanks smile.gif

also a good time to look at the oil pan gasket (easier to get at with the tranny out), rear main, etc. (on the engine). How's the ring gear on the flex plate?

Do a B&M Shift Improver Kit to it (you'll need to yank the valve body and it's MUCH easier to do out of the truck and upside down!).

Also, get a new shift-shaft seal and replace that, again, much easier while out!

agreed, shift seal for sure. like the shift kit idea. check and replace u-joints. clean and paint. new t-mount. fully lube the front cv while it is on the ground.

afterburner kit...
