noticed today my front drivshaft has quite a bit of wobble in it....the yoke itself on the diff is fine, no play, but just behind the u-joint on the shaft itself is where i'm getting a lot of play....so....how do i fix that, and HOW DO I get the front d-shaft ujoint to unseat so i can remove the dang thing?!?.....a while ago i saw my diff oilseal was going south, and leaking gear oil, so i took off the strapbolts on the u-joint, started pulling.....nothing.....am i missing something???
otherwise, if i don't do it myself, it'll cost my 2/3 of my soul.....and i kinda would like to hold onto at least half!

You would need to replace the drive shaft if the yolk and spline are wore out, (Sloppy) HMMM I have a few of them. To remove get the U bolts that hold the joint in place and then pry behind it with a prybar ;)

Two word for ya...."BFH"

Yep, a big friggin hammer.

Once those straps are off, it's jsut corrosion and old grease that is holding it on there. you should be able to either pry it off with some sort of pry-bar, or beat it off  with some sort of BFH (bet you didn't know you could beatit off witha BFH didja?) Sorry...it jsut came out.
