New (old) FSJ Owner [Archive] - International Full Size Jeep Association

Hey all. I am the proud new owner of an old 76 Cherokee W/T w/360 as well as a 78 Waggy w/401. Both have QT. I picked them both up for $300! (I know good junk when I see it. :)

I have been reading all the great info to be found here and I am very excited about becoming a part of the FSJ community.

My plans are to swap the 401 into the cherokee, add a 4" lift, and some big meats. There is also some body work to be done, and the interior needs working over, then a sound system will be added. The wagoneer is going to be used for spare parts.

Anyhow, I look forward to getting to know you all and sharing knowledge.

Looks like you got yourself a Cherokee with Chief-S package. No idea what that means tho... :D Congrats on the finds!

NICE SCORE! 2 FSJs and a 401 ain't so bad for $300! :thumbsup:

The Cherokee is a wide track model S. The Chief had specific paint and decal trim. Like the blue one below. The red one is a narrow track Cherokee S.
