i have a new rustys 4" lift.... the rear springs flex great, but the front is very dissapointing. im thinking swaybar disconnects would allow more articulation. PROS? CONS? ADVICE? im planning on making them myself... what is the best method? where should i get new bushings? thanks a ton

Hey there Quickclimber, yes you should notice a difference with the swaybar disconnected, I did. Don't know where you'd get the bushings you'd need though. I may be wrong but I believe if you take the nut that retains the top swaybar extension off there is allready a hole drilled in the bolt end which could be filled with some form of pin that would allow you to disconnect the bar whenever you wanted. This might work for ya till you make some. If you find you don't have the time to make some, I have a brand new set of JKS disconnects that should work on you rig. Would be willing to sell them for $50.00 shipped to Wa. Bought these for mine when I did the lift, but because i used a U-bolt flip kit I would have had to do some redrilling of the plate that they mount to. Another option that I myself went for was to simply remove the swaybar all together. I can hardly, if at all, notice the difference, after all this ain't no sports car.
