Strange twisted wires...

So while changing all my ATF and issues, I see that I have some sort of pick up near the drive shaft. It sits about an inch or so from the shaft and runs wires to the dash - somewhere. Is this to do with cruise control?

that is a after market cruise control there should be some magnets wired to the drive shaft

theres a zip tie but nothing else! I'm guessing they got lost / removed. Any particular types to get it back up and running - everything else seems in place under the hood?

check at the wrecking yards i dont think you can buy them seperate
