These metal connectors are new and are prolly inside every GM or GM supplied elec plug on our Jeeps. I can use the OE plastic plugs and install new connectors and wires inside them. In this photo Males on the left females center and the new plastic plugs for each.

Solder the new connectors on, snap them into old or new plugs, looks OEM :)

That's how I rewired my Cherokee engine harness. I had trouble finding the OEM style male and female spades at the parts store, but an automotive electrical repair shop sold me a bunch of them. Since then, I've seen them at NAPA and Carquest. Soldered them on to new wire. I changed all the solenoid and sending unit wires from those friction clip ons to eye-bolt connectors so they don't slide off.
