You mean you can see those two sitting in the Wag playing video games? I brought those two with me. There was some guy there with a group called "STU"??? perhaps. I could have that wrong. He had a '79 Wag with Q-trac. He was unaware of IFSJA. It was primer gray with chopped up fenders and 35's. Looked sort of familiar. He said he bought it about 2-3 months back, and all his friends were impressed by its capability.

Sorry, I could not make it....but I said I could not. They never show when they say they will. There is only a few of us that will actually show up..... I have many attempts at events and out of 10times I have been there by myself at least 4. Sorry to hear this. Do not let this discourage you....it has me in the past. Once I get my rig up again I will be there.

Did you at least do some wheelin?

I have heard those Texas FSJers struggle to get together for anything more than bench racing and BBQ. :hide:

 You hit the nail on the head. If there is free beer, bbq and no entry
fee it is a quarantee many will come. If you have to pay to get in......well you are lucky to get a couple. Oh well, I have learned to deal with that over the years.

Well I'm not mad, and I'm not discouraged. My low range is currently unreliable, so this was for most part a reconasance mission. I was hoping to put a face on some of the names though. I have to admit that 20 bucks a day is a bit much for a camp site that has no water or even a dumpster to dispose of your trash. I think after driving 5 hours to get there I would rather stay at the RV park in Gilmer.
But you Texas boys (and girls) are going to get a good ribbing over this. :D :fsj:

Hey, thats not entirely true. You forgot wrenching, skeet shooting, horseback riding, and a big bonfire. Get your facts straight mister! ROFLMAO!

In the past when I had 20+ FSJ's and 30 year+ FSJ parts collection it was easy to lure FSJeepers down with the prospect of cheap parts.

Now that my inventory is almost gone, I have had to resort to other forms of entertainment and free beer and steaks.

We are having another get together June 2nd. This time there will be about 16 Hooters girls there and we are going to have a wet thong contest. LOLOLOLOLOL

I am sorry that I could not make it. I had sick kids and I wasn't feeling too hot either. I usually will make it. Next time will be a different story....

I really want to go wheeling but I'm out of comission until I get my Fort Worth house sold and get settled in a new house down here in Austin. Once that happens, Beavis only needs a few minor repairs and then it should be up and running for a wheeling trip. Unfortunately, that won't happen until summer really kicks in so I'm out for camping until the fall.
