My 84 GW has a small problem, the tube that runs from the manifold to the air cleaner is not there, that isn't the problem, the problem is that it has no place to go, somebody took off the part that's supposed to atatch to the manifold, without it, it won't even pass the visual part of the inspection. Anybody know where to get one? Needs to fit a 258.
TIA

in the Chiltons book, it's referred to as the heated air tube, it's the 2" flexible tube that runs off the bottom of the air cleaner

the preheater duct? on the 360s these rot away. i just ram the duct between the arms of the manifold. maybe a small jeep would have one for a 258.

parts store like autozone,,,,, carry and attachment that slip onto the exhaust manifold, a bit like a U (about 1" to 0.5" wide) and the flexible slips onto the top of the U. there is probably a clam to keep them all happy together.... you could prolly make one... just buy the flex hose.....
if you cross both vertical flat piece of the U, so now it is a U with a X on top of the U, you do not even need a clamp, just do a little twisting
