I have had this Grand Wagoneer for about a year now and I'm ready to build it a little. I have built a few CJ's and Blazers But I like this one more than anything I've ever had or built.
I'm planing on doing a SOA, D44/14B FF, and a D300 for now, I'm sure more will come later.
My hy-steer arms can only be used on a LP D44, the tie rod is behind the axle. But I have a HP D44 and I'm thinking about getting arms that will work with the HP.
The rear 14 bolt will have disk breaks w/ e-break and a truss. I'm getting 63" Burb springs for the rear.
I'm going to put a sight tube on the D300 and after the axles are under it I want to do a HD output.
Cv drive shaft in the front and maybe in the rear, most likly all U joints will be 1410's.
I will be getting a fuel cell tomm. that will be mounted under the rig, behind the rear axle. I may also do a 5 Gal. reserve along one frame rail.

Yea, I've had it for a year and thinking I know how I want it now. I plan to run 35"-37" tires. Trail riding and camping would be its main use. Some sand dunes and a little mud every now and then.
I have pics of the Waggy and all the parts I have so far but I can't get them to work on here.

with the front 44 and 35's the 44 will last a little while long as you dont get too rough with it. i would look into having a back up front 60. you will need some lift and some fender trimming to fit 35's or larger tires. but with a SOA you might be able to get away without too much trimming.:D on the pics, you can save them to yahoo, photobucket or some other pic site and link to them.

I hate the grill, I want to get a boobie or a rhino for it.

I have all new spring hangers, shackel hangers, and shackels for both the front and rear. The shackels are 5" hole to hole. New shock mounts all around, some cool gusset/shock mounts for the D44. Also have the caliper brackets for the 14B FF.

Got the pics to work, thanks:thumbsup:
I have all new hangers and longer shackels along with the 63" springs. I'm hoping I don't have to cut the fenders for the 35" Dunlop Mud Rovers I have now.
If need be I will run it with this set-up for a while and get some 44044's for the front and re-arc the rears. I want to be able to clear the tires at full flex with no rub, I love how clean this body is and don't want to mess it up. If I could find cut-out flares for a Waggy I might go that way, XJ flares are the best I've seen so far.

Also, I have ordered all the hiem joints for the steering and they should be here this week. I'm running 1 1/4" DOM for the tie rod and drag link, everything with hiem joints.

All the shackle hangers and spring hangers as well as the shackles came from www.ruffstuffspecialties.com (http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com)

It holds the bushing to the frame and the shackle goes around it, instead of the shackle holding the bushing and going INside the hanger.

oh, the CJ style. I prefer the 1 piece shackles myself. More stable on the road since thereis less side to side movement.

Very soon. The axles are being pulled out of the barn this weekend. Right hand knuckle is being shipped out to be drilled and tapped. Once I get the knuckle back I will start.
