Shackle reverse up front??

I am in the process of lifting the front end of my FS Cherokee. I put the shakles at the rear of the leaf springs, I am familiar with the benefits from this, and I am wondering if anyone else has tried this with success.

I did not try this with my Wagoneer, but I may soon be aquiring a J-10 to experiment with.

Did you extend the front mounts on yours? If not, how is the pinion angle affected?
