could someone post a good pic of their edelbrock manifold and carb setup from the drivers side, showing the linkage setup? can't seem to get this right, and the way i have it set up now puts a pretty good bind on the acc. cable. thanks

Did you get the adaptor bracket from Edelbrock? It changes the position of the cable. You can make one yourself, but probably much easier just to order it, that way you know it is right. I think the part number was 8034.

got the flat narrow plate that bolts to the manifold from edelbrock. this helpd, but there is still a pretty good bend in the cable, making the throttle really stiff. the carburetor is the 1400 carb from edelbrock(same as 1406, but withthe egr ports).

Well, if you used the Edelbrock adaptor bracket, I am not sure what the problem is. Maybe someone will post a pic of their setup. Either way, I will at least bump you back to the top! :)
