Black Magic fan

I just tried to install their Trimline model 240 pusher, but it would have required hacking on the front radiator supporting frame and the pusher shroud itself. So I trashed that idea.

I thought I saw post a comment that they had attempted to use the Flex-a-lite fan "Black Magic", and they were unsuccesfull with the installation as a puller. Has anyone had success with this fan?

I use this fan on my 1973 Datsun 240z that I stuffed a chevy LT1 into. Works great. BUT I use a mid 90's S10 radiator (single core aluminum). It brings the temp right down idling in city taffic.
