83 Wagon Ltd. Where is the best place to find some missing interior switches , etc.?

Hey Gang!

Well today my 83 wagoneer finally made it here from Kansas. The car is very complete both inside and out. Only Very Dirty! Where is a good place to find such items as..

* Power mirrir switch.
* fader switch & bezel for speakers.
* Knob for wipers.

And 2 questions more..

* How do I know what tranny I have, and are the bands adjustable?

* How do you put down the center arm rest?

Howdy! You should have a Chrysler TF727 Tranny, but with a funky bell housing that makes it different from the ones in the Dodge cars and trucks. The best place to find all the interior stuff you're looking for would probably be the "HELP!" section of Advanced Auto or Autozone or Checkers/Schucks. They have most of the little interior stuff for our rigs and some universal stuff for what they don't got. Oh, yeah, I beleive the bands are adjustable.

Check the "for sale" section here - there's usually a few guys parting out junkers. Or post in the wanted section, someone may be able to help.

The Radio fader switch and the power mirrow switch will most likley come from your favorite FSJ boneyard. The wiper knob is going to be a little more difficult as the little rubber grip ring wears off faster than the wiper blades dry out. The center arm rest should just pull down unless there is a problem with the pivot points(Rust,Dirt,Non use). Then theres always this site's Wanted and For Sale forums
