No roof rack in 67 wag?

I found a 67 Wag that doesn´t seem to have a roof rack or the holes for one. I thought all wags had them. Is this true?

Roof racks are optional equipment. Check the VIN# to get an idea of the comfort level for a particular model.

I am pretty sure that roof racks did not come on the wag until 70 or 71. My '67 never had one. All of the '60's wags I have seen have never had them.

What? I guess know one wanted the option, becuase all of the ones I have seen don't have it. Also my owners manual does not mention a roof rack at all. Then again every man can be wrong once in awhile.

Hey Guys,
Took a look at the Colo. Chapter's history page. Some of the early ads they show have the rack (see 1964, 67), some don't. Of course those could be just an ad man's idea, http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif but I'ld bet it was an option. Text no help in this case.

Guess I just got lucky. Mine came with a roof rack.I may never put anything on it, but it gives me something to hold onto when I
climb onto the roof.
