i need help finding the least expensive aftermarket 4 bbl carb and manifold combo i can get for a 360. unless the motorcraft 4 bbl will bolt right up to the stock manifold, that'd be great. in that case, where can i get a motorcraft 4 bbl?
I paid 190.00 for a rebuilt Motorcraft 4350 from O'Reilly's here in Houston.

Motorcraft 4350's are available rebuilt from Holley and Champion and probably from several local rebuilders in your area. $190 is the Pepboys price in LA for a so called remanufactured 4350. If you are willing to wait, and look, you can get these a lot cheaper. One recently sold on EBAY for about $42. A typical U-pick type wrecking yard price is about $25.
If you are going to keep your emissions equipment, the 4350 is a good choice. It was designed as an emissions carb and works well with evreything hooked up. If you are going to get rid of EGR you are probably better of with an aftermarket carb as I don't believe any metering rods or jets are available to recalibrate the 4350.

Try scrounging the bone yards, I found my intake at one and paid $50 for it. My carb was bought at a swap meet for $10. I then rebuilt it to my specs.

Look in ebay for Carter AFBs. They are the same carb as a edelbrock but for half the price. The 4350 for some reason has become real scarce at the u pick latley. I think thats because Ebay. They cost 30 bucks at the junker and sell them for 75 on up on Ebay. Also used edelbrock intakes are found on Ebay for less than 100.00.
Dont pay more than 60.00 for a ebay carb. There are too many out there for cheap.
for example see below link:

Jordan, yes you will need a new intake to run a 4V carb. I might have a 4V intake soon but I do not have one as of yet. It's great to see another Okie on the forum "WELCOME". Your best bet is the Edelbrock intake as it ways tons less than the cast iron stock intake. Then you can bolt allot of different carbs to it. If you need any parts let me know since I am local to you.

Yes you will need a 4bbl intake manifold. There are 4bbl carb to 2bbl manifold adaptors out there but they are junk.
A regular square bore carb will work on a stock intake but get a edelbrock or holley intake. They are cheap used and lighter.
