hey im a new member to the site we just got a 77 cherokee cheif and i am looking for some replacement sheetmetal and was wondering if any of you guys could point me in the right direction i am looking for inner fenders,header panel, rear bumper and a few other minor things i have checked on

j,c whitney
looked on raybucks but didnt see anything
anybody have any other suggestions

Post up requests on the wanted page. If it is out there, someone here will have it, and at a reasonable price. Most of the sheetmetal is interchangable. Inner fenders are the same for all of that vintage, as are the bumpers. If you need the front fenders themselves, would need to know if it is a wide track (with the factory metal flares, only available in 2 door versions) or a narrow track (some 2 doors and all four door cheros and wags).
Go to the user cp and put a description of your new toy in the sig line, helps the rest of us figure if what we are hoarding might be what you need.

i am getting a 78 wagoneer that im going to use for parts will inner fenders work on the cherokee? i havent really looked at the wagoneer that close to find out if they are the same or not

They should work fine. When I did the restoration of my J4000 a few years back, I was able to get inner fenders at my local Jeep dealer that were for a Grand Wagoneer and they were the same.

Yep, they will interchange, only diff might be the way the batt tray mounts, they used a couple of different looks over the years, but no biggie.

Where in VA?If your near Asheville area we have a FSJ only yard.40+ and growing some with great sheet metal.

Do you mean Asheville, NC? If so where are you located...I'm near Spartanburg.
