Does ATF dissolve polyurethane?

Cause fluid leaking from various spots seems to be eating away at my newish rubber tranny mount. It is getting jelly-like at the edges after only about a year...

Can anyone tell me if a poly mount would hold up better? Thanks :D

Hi Langdon,
the poly mounts don't have a problem with the normal deterioration from lubricants. go for it, they are fantastic. If you want to stop your leaks, there is a gasket sealer that comes in a can like aerosol cheese and works great. I've used it on about 20 or more pan gaskets and never had one leak. It's called "The Right Stuff" and its made by Permatex
