replacing tranny mount, need help

I've never done this before so any hints would help me. Its a 1974 J10 with 3spd stick. It looks like I have to unbolt the mount from the crossmember and then drop the crossmember, then unbolt the mount from the tranny. Then reverse the process to reinstall. Is that all their is too it? I dont see any other way to get to the bolts that hold the mounts to the tranny. Any help appreciated.

you dont have to lower the crossmember. Just unbolt the two pieces from each other and then use a jack to lift the tranny. Slide out the old and in when the new and bolt it back up. Should take you about an hour with common hand tools.
