no, this isnt a workout routine...

those of you running the NP-205 cases that drop passenger side...

is it possible to clock the belly completely flat without major floor mods? I'm just wondering if it will fit. I want to try to get it all above the bottom of the frame rails and run a flat belly pan that will bolt off. I'm planning to do the air shifter like DB did, I already drew up my plans for it, So I do not care what it does to shifter linkages, etc. I can re-drill my chevy adapter to clock, no sweat there.

all I need to know is:

1) am I going to have to slice my floor?

2) will the driveshaft clear the trans pan of a th400?

TIA

drive shaft will clear. (my 205 is clocked up 4" and has miles before the shaft would hit the trans)

i think that you will have to do some floor cutting. when i had a floor and just my 205 (not the doubler thats in there now) my 205 was real close to the floor unclocked. so im thinking that w/ it clocked you might need some trimming.

i have some pics of the tcase on my home comp that ill u/l tonight for ya to show the clearence.

this is in a semi stock location (this was when i put in the big block) and it is unclocked.

looks like if it was clocked you might be able to get it flat, but it would be close.
