I am getting ready to buy another 65 and would like to know what floor shift trannies were available for them. Mine is a 3 on the tree and would love to put this floor shift in mine. TIA

How about a tree to floor conversion kit, I was thinking about one for my 65 waggy but have not seen it mentioned here.

Anybody make one or do any of the 3 speed shifter conversions work?

In 65 the 3 speeds were all column shift T90's or T89's. The floor shift trans was a 4 speed T98.

How about a conversion shifter kit?

I think the CJ's in the 60's used the floor shift T90's but you'd have to swap the whole trans. The side shift T90 can't be converted to top shift. For a conversion shifter I'd look into Hurst or Lokar.
