ACK! Went out to start her and nothing. Turn the key, nothing happens. The battery is less than a year old (although it has gone dead on me once) and was charged up 2 weekends ago. I posted something about hard starting and River Beast mentioned that he bought a starter at Advance for like 26 bucks. Anybody got that part number? I'd rather spend that on a starter than try buying a new battery. Plus I think I might have messed up my starter when I got stuck in 3 1/2 feet of mud  Anyway, if you've got the part # it would make it alot easier on me. Thanks! -Zach

If you turn the key and dont here a "click" make sure the solenoid is getting control power from the ignition switch. There are 4 contacts on the solenoid 2are small for "control" and 2 are large they supply the power. Make sure everything is tight there.

Not the battery. Charged it up today. I think it's the starter. River Beast, how was yours behaving whenever you had to get a new starter? All I'm getting is a click, no crank, no nothing. SOMEBODY HELP I NEED TO GET HER GOING AGAIN! :D
Have you pulled of the battery cables at both ends and cleaned them? "Especially" the NEG cable.

SWEET Thanks. Found out there's a core charge if you don't take your old one in, so I pulled the old one today and took it to Autozone. My friend noticed a tag on the starter and said he thought it might be from Autozone, so we took it there. Sure enough, it was from Autozone and has a lifetime warranty! :D :D :D The 40 bucks will now be going towards something more useful like a Hi Lift jack or somethin of the sort. I was darn happy to find about that warranty! Thanks for the help. -Zach
