Some bed help

Hello all, I'm Chris, new to the site and looking for some help!

I have a Kaiser M-726 (the utility bed version of the 715) and I hate the bed. I'm having one helluva time finding the standard military bed around here (SoCal) and am now leaning towards using a civilian bed.
Does anyone know for certain if these trucks shared frames with any J series' or if any J-truck beds will bolt on?
Anyone have a bed, military preferred or civilian for sale?
The biggest thing I'm interested in though are the dimensions, from the back of the cab to the center of the rear axle and the frame width, outside to outside. I'd be grateful for anybody that's willing to measure their trucks - give me as many years and models as possible so I can get an idea of what will work and I can start looking.

Welcome and I'm jealous of your 726 :D If the Jeep gurus here determine that a '73 bed will fit drop me an email, I just picked up a '73 J4000. The sides are straight, but the bed is dented, nothing a little diamond plate wouldn't fix! The price will defineately be right if you can use it.
