License plate light in my '76 Wag hasen't worked for awhile so when I took out the two screws holding what I thought was the lens,out comes this little plastic rectangle box.It's about 2 1/4 long,7/8 wide,and 5/8 deep.The"lens"is part of the box and a little larger with two ears for attaching.There are two round female recepticals for the electrical connection.I can see what I think is a plug in bulb inside ,but no obivious way open the box.It looks to me that it should be replaced as a single part.Has anyone else ever had to deal with this???
