Simple 727 Question

I'm installing new cooler lines on the '84-J'and pitched the old lines, and forgot which port on the tranny is the output and which is the return.
Can any of you tranny guys help?

Not a tranny guy here but I would not think it would matter since it is going to the cooler one way and coming back threw the other line. If I am wrong someone should be along shortly to straighten me out.
