Happened to grab the A pillar while reaching under the dash for the fuses and this happened....

Very light twist and the top broke off too.

Ouch, that's some pretty crazy bad rust... How'd they ship that FSJ over there, by dragging it behind the boat on a long rope?? :D Even then I bet it wouldn't get that rotted :D

Yeah, that particular problem area was what scared me the most about that vehicle in your previous posting on the matter.
If that windscreen is in reasonable shape you may want to porta-power up that corner and see if you can snatch it before the car gets hauled away. Get help from a few friends in this process.

When they (AMC) converted UK Heeps to RHD, they used a booty fab chain drive deal. The box the chain is in covers the bolts at the front of the transmission cover. Usually i spend hours trying to reach them. Not this time. Angle grinders are my new best friends!

Already don. I cut the rubber off the front and lifted it off myself.
