Another sign that my habit is terminal?

I'm on the driveway stripping down the Chief before it gets scrapped, when a junkyard towtruck pulls up next door. Over the fence i hear him ask the neighbour "Do you have the old Jeep?". I guess the neighbour points him round the corner to my house.

Truck pulls up. The guy asks me, "you want that picked up?".






I hadn't called for a towtruck (yet)! :eek: Didn't know the guy, didn't know the company. Told him i'm not ready yet, took his card and said i'd call him in a couple of days.


How the F did he know to come by?? :confused: I was so stunned he knew to come by my house to make a pickup, i didn't ask. Am i so far gone, the yunkyards just know when i need them? :D

Right after my Blazer went on fire I had it out by the road to get towed to my house and the wrecker from the junkyard pulls up and asks if they could take it...Must be a psychic tow truck guy thing

Aerial drones are being used to spot for them

They drive around searching neighborhoods or something. I keep throwing away flyers from auto salvage companies, I guess they see the Buick sitting there with no plates and that could be a some money for them. Still annoying though, I have to go buy a car cover for it.

Funny how they stopped at the neighbors first... hmmm I wonder if someone in the neighborhood wants it gone.

now I'm picturing the yard from that old Brittish show where they always had the barking dog living in the junk car on the front lawn since you are in the UK.:D

I don't think the neighbours would have called. Its not that kind of neighbourhood and the Chief has been sitting out there for a few months.
