Really thinking about changing the interior in my '79 Chief to black, looking for pix of black interiors. I know they're out there :D

well i have a 80 black int, but at this point it's on the shop floor. i'm finishing up new floor pans and new carpet. i should have it done by next week. if you can wait that long.

Here's a few pics of my 80 Cherokee 4dr. Front buckets are pro-comps, center console is a tuffy box. Hope this helps.

So should I paint my existing dash& pad black or should I opt for original black ones? The ones I have now are mint, no cracks, warping or rust.

GRRR!!! Now dont you go snatchin up all the black interior parts as Ive been doin the same thing! ;) Them black parts are hard to find for some reason.

Ha! Don't you worry, the only original black interior parts I'd be getting would be seats, unless I find some nice ones somewhere...I think I'm going to end up dyeing the dashpad, painting the metal part of the dash and making my own interior panels all arround.

The only thing I can't make up my mind on is whether or not to paint all the metal inside the truck red to match the exterior, like the factory woudla done it, or black to match the interior.
