no its cool, i was in a hurry, i need a switchable 12 v source to wire up the electric choke to, i have wired to the I post of the starter relay, but that doesnt provide a 12v source once i take the key off start, I was thinkin of wiring it into the + wire off of the solenoid that went into the fuel bowl on the old motorcraft carb. would that work? thanks yall, anybody have any tips on tuning the 1406 carb or how to tell if my tranny is shifting properly?

there is a wire on the wiper motor that is ign switch controled you can tap in there

um, how would i go about doin that, obviously i need to catch it before it goes to the switch?, would the fuel bowl vent solenoid not work?

If this is in your '89, then just use the stock choke wire, or the wire for the anti-diesel solenoid.

i used the stock wire, but after it came out of the choke relay, i had a smore like situation, if i know where the relay was i guess i could catch it before it went in, but i dont. where do most people wire theres into? thanks yall, sorry for all the ?s, wiring aint my sport and im not i can recognize all these relays
