I just spent the last few days putting headers on my Jeep and honestly I had fun doing it. It was a bit messy getting the old stuff off and I am missing some skin as well but it was enjoyable. I am going to take it to a shop to have the pipes done and he believes the best set up would be a 3" single exhaust with a Walker Turbo muffler. I use the Jeep to pulla 20' trailer during the summer up into the mountains here in Montana then we hit the dirt roads. Should I go single or dual exhaust? I know this question has been beat to death but I thought I would ask one more time. Thanks

Hello! I vote single exhaust run down the passenger side, where the heat shields are.

I noticed in your set up that you run duals but you advocate a single. Why?
Thanks for your input.

My vote is for the single with the flowmaster.

I've run duals and a single 2.5", all with Flowmasters, and honestly I like the single better. It's quieter in the cab but still has an aggressive sound. And running the exhaust down the driver's side is a pain in the heiney with the fuel tank on that side. The stock location is nicely tucked away from damage. I didn't notice any performance difference.
