The GW I bought from a guy in Portland, OR arrived at the drop off in Little Rock on Sunday morning. The place called about 9:30 a.m. as we were heading out to church. They were only open until noon on Sunday so I had to waite until Monday a.m. to go pick her up. I arrived at the drp off point about 7:00 a.m. and was on my way home about 8:00 after filling up with gas(a true FSJ ritual!). She got 12 mpg on the 70 mile trip home. She's in great shape and looks new under the hood, or at least as close to new as I've seen on a FSJ! I'll get some pics up if I get home before dark any time soon. I'll have to change my sig now.

Glad it made it "home" OK.

So, what is the build date? You must have checked the tag by now!

Your house must look a lot like mine; a couple J-trucks, a Final Edition Waggy and a CJ-5 in pieces (I'm in the process of putting my '76 CJ-5 back together on it's new frame. - Hope to have it back together when "top-down" weather finally gets here).

Tonka, I'll get the pic of the tag up too.

My CJ is ready to start the re-assembly. It is the reddest red I've seen!

I can't find the thread for the pic of the vin tag, has it been removed? Build date is April, 1991.

jim c - just wondering, dont see too many wags with mud flaps - whats the logo on yours - mine is an 89, but has the amc jeep logo on the flaps, rather than the chrysler star - just curious to find out if youve got nothing better to do. nice wag btw :)

What's funny is that I actually took a look at that rig while here in Oregon! Good score.

So I go out to the garage while the wag is sitting outside in the driveway and lo' and behold it has "marked' it's territory with a nice puddle of oil! Ahhhhh, the joys of FSJ's! The fun has begun.
