Some one must have installed the low range to cable type. Last cable low range I know of was 74. the 79 should have the shifter for low on the floor under drivers seat. Cable shifters always seemed to freeze up.

LOL Ok to 75 it is, But I do know 76 went to the floor shifter ;) I do not think the cable is available anymore. I have taken them off, and coiled it up then placed it in a container with WD40. Worked the cable then let soak again, few days later it was as good as new. :D month later it was froze up again!!!

I have a dash mounted cable in my 75 Waggie but I have no idea what condition it's in. Rather than offer it for sale, how about an alternative?

I saw a PTO cable that looked similar to this one that was very heavy duty.

Easy Glide Pto Cables stay kink-free even when tied in a knot!
Finally, a PTO cable you can depend on for long, smooth operation. These rod end cables come complete with a specially designed PTO connection kit which installs easily and provides a sure link to your PTO. The Easy Glide? cables are factory lubricated, then permanently sealed. Their design enables kink free operation even when tied in a knot! These cables have a durable polyethylene cover which protects the long lay strands and stainless steel cut, so please be sure to measure the correct length needed for you vehicle. Next time you replace a PTO cable, do it with an Easy Glide? and you won't have to worry about it again. Designed to fit single and double gear PTO's. Please check the style of your PTO before ordering to ensure we send you the correct installation kit. Refer to the drawings to match your single gear or double gear application.
