When I perform SOA, what do I do about the front and rear traction bars?-(ANSWERED)-

Where can I get my hands on extended brake lines?-(ANSWERED)-

And- How do you extend the linkages and stuff when putting a 3" body lift on?-(ANSWERED)-

Thanks guys! :D

For the front SOA, what I've seen is that you take the spring plate from under the axle and now you will flip it over to put on top of the spring on the opposite side (requires a little grinding in one spot.
I don't know about the rear sway bar, I'd probably ditch it.
NAPA has the brake lines, use Chevy, pick your length.
Some body lift kits include the linkage extensions, usually not the bumper brackets though.

i got my SS brake line from CRAWLTECH.. but they sent me the rear one with the wrong size fitting so I had to search all over to find an adapter.. but it worked after that.. I didn't have traction bars so I can't help you there..

Jon...you do not need the trac bars or your sway bar. I have been without for about a year...cannot tell the diffrence.

those arent traction bars as a fyi ;) they are track bars. They keep the track of the axle in place, to help prevent wandering and leaning on corners. They also help keep the axle from moving side to side.

I got my SS brake lines from Rusty. They are Goodridge brand and are the best mod I have done on my Wag. With 36's and tons of gear loaded onboard, she still stops on a dime. I definitely recommend them.

I would just take some round steel stock of the same diameter, and add the brackets to the end of them. Although being longer means they have a better chance of bending. So I would beef them up to help prevent this.

Thanks Stuka! I think if I put some steel pipe with an ID identical to the linkages OD, it would strengthen it up quite a bit. Never really thought about that.
