It's only $13 bucks. I'd buy it and put it on the shelf for looks. Buy enough of that type of stuf and you can have a pretty nice display. Or it would be perfect for a correctly restored car or truck.

If I was restoring an AMC/Jeep to showroom condition and it wouldn't get driven I'd use one on there. I'd probably just throw it up on the shelf like mentioned above...Come to think of it, I had one that I gave to the dsNo that bought my '85 but it didn't have the box

my only concern would be the O-ring being dried up

I'd be worried about filth falling into it, to say nothing of moisture and fungus--and perhaps even tiny little woodland creatures..... :D  :p

Hey, don't forget $6.50 to ship it! $20.00 for a filter that you'll only get 3000 miles out of it.

Yeah, but I've seen some basic tune-up items that were NOS AMC stuff and they went for over $100. Resto guys are crazy. ;)

Worth it. I spent more then that on new under hood decals for my J10. You would be surprised at how much better new decals will make restored parts look.

I don't know the issue here, the filter is not for use, it is a neat item to spin on when the car/jeep is parked at the show, then spun off and put away for the next show. $20 for a driver filter is high, for having the right final touch at the show it is very cheap.
