slim and I took a buddy out wheelin yesterday and had a blast, a few minor electrical issues and I broke a front d-shaft while reversing up a nasty ledge. All in all had a good time, but now I gotta finish off my exo before I wheel next:D

Looks like a good time on the trail. I really like the tube work you have goin on! What size and type of wheels are you running? Great pics can't wait to see the final exo cage.

thanks guys, the wheels are stock steel late model ford p/u wheels, 16X7 or 16X8......cant remember now.....I know they are narrow but this isnt my DD any more and I can run at very low pressures without be-beading......this is the first real project for me bending tube, it sure is time consuming and I have tried a few different looks to the front but this is the one that I was happiest with so far. I am going to start a build thread with more detailed pics, and I will update it when I finish the exocage. I sure am glad I had the front bars in place on this last run, sure saved my front end several times.

Yeah all the trails around here are pretty tight, we have lots of old growth areas with large trees and its very wet most of the year with lots of run off water making most trails different every year. All the trails I run are here on vancouver island, british columbia, Canada.

that is just some of the best looking wilderness i have seen in a while. i would love to visit for a wheelin trip someday. lookin forward to those buildup pics.:thumbsup:

Yeah I think you did good on the front. I ask about the rims because I love the way they look and want to run them when I get my J10 up and running on 1-tons. I am looking forward to the build thread.
